Senior Pastor
Pastor Jim was educated at Warner Pacific College where he received a Master of Religion and at Multnomah Bible College where he received a Bachelor of Religious Education. He and wife Ramona answered the call to ministry in 1992 when they assumed the pastorate in Husum, WA, where they ministered for six years. They pastored in Oregon City for five years and then came to the Alder Grove Church in July of 2003. He was licensed to minister in 1992 and ordained in 1995. He and Ramona long to be used as God’s vessels for life change and hope to be used to empower the church of God in Aberdeen to do the same.

Pastor Casandra Shaffer
Children's Pastor
Pastor Casandra attended Warner Pacific college where she received her School of Servant Leadership certificate and is in the process of being licensed through the state of Washington. She and her husband Mark were called to serve as Youth and Children's Pastors in the beautiful Cayman Islands as Special Assignment Missionaries through Anderson Indiana Church of God. They served for 2 years before returning to the states in 2000 were she joined the Children's Ministry team as an assistant to the Children's Pastor at the Vancouver First Church of God where she worked for about 5 years along with working at Royal Ridges Retreat Center as the Children's Ministry Director. She received a calling to serve here at Alder Grove Church of God in March of 2005 as the Children's Pastor. She has a passion to leave a legacy of Christ unfailing love, grace and mercy in the hearts of children that live in Grays Harbor.

Pastor Dan Chojnacki
Outreach/Assimilations Pastor
Pastor Dan has spent the last 14 years ministering in Oregon, Arizona and Washington as a Sr. Pastor, a Youth Pastor and Outreach Pastor. Dan was licensed by the Oregon and Southwest Washington Assoc. of Churches of God in 1995 and Ordained during the 2000 Oregon camp meeting at Brooks. Dan and his wife Sherrie are excited to be in The Harbor and to join the team at Alder Grove. He has a strong desire to show by word and deed the Love of Christ to the people in The Harbor.
